Chateau Gassiot 2019, 750ml

Château Gassiot, a historic Côtes de Bourg estate run by the Faure family for six generations.

The blend is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Malbec from 30-year-old, low-yielding vines. The wines are cold macerated, fermentated in thermoregulated tanks, vatted for three weeks, and aged for 13 months in French oak barrels.

The vines are grown using sustainable viticulture with the estate holding HVE Level 3 certification.

Tasting Note:

Deep purple color. Aromas with floral and jammy red and black berries (blackcurrant, redcurrant). The tannins are soft and subtle and the overall impression.
