Chevalier de Lascombes 2017, 750ml

Chevalier de Lascombes 2017 is produced from vineyards in Margaux with gravel and clay soils planted mainly to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with a small proportion of Petit Verdot. Grapes were hand harvested destemmed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats using selected yeast. The wine was aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels with a portion of new wood to enhance structure and complexity.

Tasting Note:

The nose shows aromas of redcurrant plum and subtle floral notes with hints of spice and cedar. The palate is medium bodied with fresh red fruit fine tannins and balanced acidity leading to a smooth finish. Overall it offers a refined and approachable expression of Margaux with clarity and elegance.
