Connetable Talbot 2018, 375ml

Connétable Talbot 2018 is a blend of 57% Merlot and 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from 30-year-old vines planted in gravelly soils in Saint-Julien. Grapes were manually harvested between September 19 and October 10, sorted both manually and optically, and fermented in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine was aged for 16 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which were new.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show violet, black fruit, and subtle roasted notes. The palate is medium-bodied, with structured tannins, ripe blackberry, and a balanced finish. Overall, the wine is polished and approachable, reflecting the warm vintage.
