Dopff au Moulin Gewurztraminer Terres Epicees 2023, 750ml

100% Gewurztraminer grown in the Gehey vineyard in Riquewihr, Alsace, where east-facing slopes and sandy clay soils support sustainably farmed vines under Haute Valeur Environnementale certification. Grapes were hand-harvested at full maturity, whole-bunch pressed, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using native yeasts, followed by eight months of ageing in stainless steel to preserve varietal purity.

Tasting Note

On the nose there are ripe lychee, rose and yellow?stone?fruit aromas with a subtle spicy accent. The palate is off?dry, smooth?textured and gently rounded, showing white?peach, melon and sweet spice, lifted by moderate acidity and a hint of honey. Overall it delivers a line?clean, fruit?driven expression of Gewurztraminer with restrained spice and balanced sweetness.
