Fabio Oberto Barolo 2022, 750ml

Sourced from 100% Nebbiolo vines in the renowned clay-limestone soils of La Morra and surrounding sites in the Barolo zone. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with an extended submerged-cap maceration to extract fine tannins and aromatics. The wine is aged for 24 months in large traditional Slavonian oak casks (botti grandi), followed by additional refinement in bottle prior to release.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with classic aromatics of violets, dried red roses, wild strawberries, and ripe red cherry, layered with hints of mint, sweet spices, and subtle leather. The palate is medium-bodied, precise, and well-structured, showing vibrant red fruit, firm, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is persistent, clean, and savory.
