Domaine Matrot Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2021, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, planted on clay-limestone soils. Thierry & Pascale Matrot farm sustainably, with careful vineyard management to preserve fruit purity. Grapes were hand-harvested, destemmed, and fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel vats. The wine was aged for about 12 months in French oak barrels, with a modest proportion of new oak, balancing freshness and structure.
Tasting Note:
The 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is bright and approachable, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is supple and elegant, showing fine tannins, lively acidity, and pure fruit expression. The finish is fresh and harmonious, making it an excellent introduction to the Matrot style.
