Domaine Guy Amiot Beaune "Longbois" Blanc 2022, 750ml

This 100% Chardonnay is sourced from the steep, high-slope single vineyard of Longbois in the hills above Beaune, planted on limestone-rich soils with good exposure. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in French oak barrels (20% new oak). The wine aged on its fine lees in barrels for 12 months before being transferred to stainless steel vats to rest prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of lemon zest, fresh yellow apple, white pear, and subtle white blossoms, complemented by hints of crushed stone minerality and light toast. The palate is vibrant, fresh, and supple, offering crisp orchard fruit flavors balanced by lively acidity and a chalky mineral finish.
