Chateau de Fleurie Fleurie 2024, 750ml

Sourced from Château de la Pierre, an historic estate in Régnié and Chénas dating back over 300 years, managed today under the care of Maison Jean Loron. Planted on steep, southeast-facing granitic slopes, the old-vine Gamay Noir grapes undergo traditional semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel vats.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with an expressive nose of dark cherry, wild blackberry, and crushed red currant, accompanied by notes of violet, subtle black pepper, and licorice. The palate is medium-bodied, delivering a dense core of dark berry fruit, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, with savory spice notes.
