Jean Baptiste Jessiaume Santenay 1er Cru "Les Gravieres" Blanc 2023, 750ml

Sourced from sustainably farmed Chardonnay vines in the 1er Cru "Les Gravières," known for its steep, stony limestone-gravel soils located in Santenay. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and French oak barrels. The wine ages for 12 to 14 months on fine lees in French oak barrels (20% new oak, 80% neutral barrels) with periodic bâtonnage prior to fining and bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of ripe yellow peach, Meyer lemon, green apple, white flowers, toasted almond, and crushed limestone. The palate is dry, medium-to-full-bodied, and structured, delivering a core of citrus and stone fruit balanced by fresh acidity and a rich, texturally refined mid-palate. The finish is long, clean, and rich.
