Springbank 21 Year Old Single Cask, 700ml

This is a special single cask release from the Springbank Distillery. Produced using lightly peated malt that is floor-malted on-site and distilled 2.5 times in traditional copper pot stills, the spirit is matured for 21 years in a hand-selected oak cask. The distillery utilizes water sourced from Crosshill Loch and handles all production steps entirely in-house. This bottling is a cask strength single malt whisky with an alcohol by volume of 54.2%.

Tasting Note:

Aroma: Rich tropical fruit aromas of mango and ripe banana open alongside, wax polish, and honey. These are complemented by a gentle coastal brine and a faint, long lasting peat smoke.

Palate: Complex and full-bodied with flavors of salted caramel, dried figs, and orange zest integrated with creamy vanilla. The mid-palate reveals dark sugar, warm oak spice, and Springbank’s signature oily maltiness.

Finish: The texture is rich and velvety, leading into a long finish of toasted almonds, maritime salinity, campfire embers, and a touch of dark cocoa powder.
