100% Pinot Noir from old vines in Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru. Organic Certified. Grapes were hand-harvested, rigorously sorted, and vinified with partial whole cluster inclusion (approximately 30–40%), depending on ripeness. Fermentation was carried out with native yeasts, and the wine was aged for about 18 months in French oak barrels, with 20–25% new oak, carefully balanced to preserve terroir transparency while adding structure and aromatic lift.
Tasting Note:
The 2022 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is expressive and generous, with aromas of ripe red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and subtle spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, supple, and layered, showing bright acidity, silky tannins, and a mineral edge. The finish is long and harmonious, emphasizing elegance and aromatic complexity, with whole cluster inclusion adding lift and nuance.
