Domaine Rossignol Trapet Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru 2021, 1.5L

100% Pinot Noir from a 0.73-hectare parcel in Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru, located just south of Chambertin on a narrow, stony slope with shallow limestone-rich soils. The vineyard is biodynamically farmed and planted at a density of 12,500 vines per hectare, with vines averaging 55 years of age. Fermented with native yeasts in open wooden vats, with around 50% whole bunches included. The wine was aged for approximately 18 months in French oak barrels, of which 30% were new.
Tasting Note:
The 2021 vintage opens with aromas of crushed strawberry, forest floor and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and focused, with firm tannins, bright acidity and a long, mineral finish. The wine shows precision and restraint, with a structured profile that promises age-worthiness.
