Ca' del Baio Barbaresco"Autinbej" 2023, 750ml

This 100% Nebbiolo comes from the Autinbej vineyard in Treiso, which sits on grey silty-clay marl soils. The fruit was hand-harvested and de-stemmed before fermentation began in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The juice stayed on the skins for 30 days. The wine aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Following this period, the wine was bottled and remained in the cellar for an additional period of refinement before release.

Tasting Note:

The nose presents focused aromas of red cherry, dried rose petals, and subtle balsamic notes. The palate is characterized by a firm tannic structure and vibrant acidity that supports flavors of small red fruits and licorice. It finishes with a persistent, savory grip.
