Chateau Lanessan 2020, 750ml

Harvested at full ripeness and fermented in temperature‑controlled concrete vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, using approximately one‑third new oak, one‑third one‑year‑old barrels and one‑third two‑year‑old barrels. The 2020 vintage is a blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, sourced from deep Garonne gravel soils over clay‑gravel subsoils in the Haut‑Médoc.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry with notes of cedar, licorice and subtle spice on the nose. Round and fleshy on the attack, leading to a structured mid‑palate with ripe fruit, polished tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is persistent and classic in style, showing freshness and clarity.
