Pieropan La Rocca Soave Classico 2024, 750ml

This 100% Garganega is sourced from the La Rocca vineyard, a limestone-rich site at an altitude of 200 to 300 meters. The grapes were hand-harvested in several passes during October to ensure peak ripeness. After a brief skin maceration, fermentation took place in concrete vats and 2,500-liter oak casks. The wine aged on its fine lees for 12 months in a combination of 500-liter French oak barrels and 2,000-liter Slavonian oak vats. Following this period, the wine stayed in the bottle for 4 months before release.

Tasting Note:

The nose is complex with aromas of ripe yellow apple, jasmine, and acacia honey. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, featuring a silky texture with flavors of exotic fruit and toasted almond balanced by a distinct mineral tension. The finish is long and persistent with subtle balsamic nuances.
