Eugenio Collavini Pinot Grigio Collio Goriziano 2024, 750ml

100% Pinot Grigio from vineyards in San Floriano del Collio, Gorizia, Cormòns, and Mossa on ponca soils (layered marl and sandstone with marine fossils). The domaine hand-harvests the grapes at full ripeness. A short cold maceration on the skins is followed by gentle pressing and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about two weeks at controlled low temperatures (14–16°C). The wine is then aged on its fine lees until spring with no oak used.

Tasting Note:

The 2024 opens with aromas of white peach, green apple, pear, citrus zest, acacia blossom, and subtle mineral notes. The palate is vibrant and crisp with bright orchard and stone fruit, silky texture, lively acidity, saline minerality, and a clean, refreshing, elegantly persistent finish. Balanced, pure, and classic Collio style.
