Domaine Laurent Roumier Chambolle Musigny 2022, 750ml

Pinot Noir from five parcels in Chambolle-Musigny, totaling about 1.5 hectares, with vines averaging 35 years old (one parcel over 50). Laurent Roumier farms traditionally, with careful vineyard work and sustainable practices. Grapes were hand-harvested, sorted, and vinified with native yeasts, without cold pre-fermentation maceration. The wine was aged for 15–18 months in French oak barrels, with a modest proportion of new oak, highlighting finesse and purity.
Tasting Note:
The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny shows bright ruby color and aromas of violet, red berries, and subtle spice. With aeration, notes of undergrowth and truffle emerge. The palate is silky and elegant, with fine tannins and remarkable density that approaches Premier Cru quality. The finish is long, fruity, and refined, suggesting excellent aging potential.
