Chateau de Caraguilhes "Solus" Corbieres Rouge 2023, 750ml

Produced from biodynamically farmed vineyards in the Terroir de Boutenac, planted on clay‑limestone soils with rolled pebbles over Miocene molasse. The 2023 blend is composed of 45% Carignan, 30% Syrah and 25% Mourvèdre, harvested by hand. Vinification is traditional, followed by 10 months of ageing, with approximately 65% of the wine matured in oak barrels and 35% in concrete tanks and sandstone amphorae to balance structure, freshness and precision. Certified Ecocert, Biodyvin and Demeter, and bottled at around 14.5% abv.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of black cherry, wild blackberry and cassis layered with notes of roasted coffee, licorice and fresh thyme. The palate opens smoothly and dynamically, offering concentrated dark fruit supported by fine‑grained, polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Powerful yet composed, with savoury Mediterranean nuances and a long, structured finish that reflects the depth and pedigree of the Boutenac terroir.
