Domaine Albert Grivault Pommard 1er Cru "Clos Blanc" Rouge 2019, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from old vines in the Pommard 1er Cru Clos Blanc climat on clay and sandy gravel soils with limestone influence. The domaine practices reasoned viticulture with regular ploughing of the soils. The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed and fermented in open vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels with a moderate percentage of new oak.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of red cherry, dark fruit, rose petal and subtle earth on the nose. The palate shows concentration with structured tannins, vibrant acidity and good texture. The finish is long, firm and composed.
