Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Perrieres" 2023, 750ml

This 100% Chardonnay is sourced from the 1er Cru vineyard of Les Perrières in Puligny-Montrachet, planted on stony, limestone-rich soils. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in French oak barrels. The wine aged on its fine lees in barrels for 12 months before resting in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of noble white orchard fruit, lemon oil, crushed stone minerality and subtle salinity. The palate is crystalline, precise, and finely focused, showing impressive tension balanced by pure fruit and fresh acidity. The finish is long, dry, and persistent, ending on a crisp, stony mineral note.
