Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Folatieres" 2023, 750ml

This 100% Chardonnay is sourced from a 0.5-hectare parcel of old vines in the 1er Cru Les Folatières in Puligny-Montrachet, planted on stony clay-limestone soils. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in French oak barrels. The wine aged on its fine lees in barrels for 12 months before resting in stainless steel tanks prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of honeysuckle, fresh citrus, ripe white orchard fruit, and subtle saline notes. The palate is lively, precise, and perfectly textured, offering rich fruit flavors balanced by fresh acidity and fine mineral energy. The finish is long, clean, and balanced, leaving a lingering impression of pure mineral freshness.
