Domaine Francois Carillon Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2021, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from 60-year-old vines planted on calcareous-clay soils in Corpeau, a hamlet bordering Puligny-Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. Hand-harvested grapes were cold macerated for a short period, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation. The wine aged on fine lees in French oak barrels (10% new oak) for 12 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with vibrant aromas of fresh red cherry, wild raspberry, violet, and moist earth, accompanied by subtle graphite and soft spice notes. The palate is light-to-medium-bodied, delicate, and fresh, with silky tannins and fine acidity. The finish is clean, dry, and balanced, with notes of fruit and subtle spice.
