Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 2023, 750ml

This 100% Chardonnay is sourced from multiple vineyard plots planted on clay and limestone soils across the village of Puligny-Montrachet. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts in French oak barrels (15% to 20% new oak). The wine aged on its fine lees in barrels for 12 months before resting in stainless steel tanks for an additional 6 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with aromas of white peach, poached pear, sweet citrus blossom, and subtle hazelnut, complemented by light toast and wet stone minerality. The palate is medium-bodied, plush, and precise, offering ripe orchard fruit and lemon flavors balanced by driving acidity and fine mineral structure. The finish is long, clean, and sappy, ending on a crisp mineral note.
