Domaine Rapet Beaune 1er Cru "Les Bressandes" Rouge 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines in the Les Bressandes climat, located in the upper part of the slope in Beaune Premier Cru on light clay and stony soils over limestone. The domaine farms organically with hand-harvested grapes. Vinification uses native yeasts with a portion of whole bunches, followed by ageing in French oak barrels with around 20-30% new oak.

Tasting Note:

The 2023 opens with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, violet, and subtle spice with earthy mineral undertones. The palate is medium to full-bodied with vibrant red fruit, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, silky texture, and a long, saline, mineral-driven finish. Elegant, structured, and balanced with excellent ageing potential.
