Domaine Jean Charles Rion Nuits St Georges 1er Cru Blanc "Les Terres Blanches" 2022, 750ml

This rare 1er Cru white blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Blanc is sourced from the high-altitude Les Terres Blanches vineyard in Nuits St Georges, planted on light, chalky white limestone and marl soils. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts before aging in French oak barrels (approx. 30% new oak) for 12 to 15 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with precise aromas of orchard fruit, white peach, green apple, and white acacia blossom, backed by crushed stone minerality and subtle oak warmth. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied, fresh, and textured, combining Pinot Blanc’s rounded stone-fruit character with a chalky, saline finish.
