Jean Loron Macon Villages "La Crochette" 2023, 750ml

Sourced from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils across Viré-Clessé and the surrounding slopes west of Mâcon in Southern Burgundy. Vinified entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats under the direction of Maison Jean Loron, this 100% Chardonnay is made to preserve maximum freshness, fruit, and the vibrant mineral drive typical of the Mâconnais.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with lively aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, and white peach, layered with delicate white flowers and a subtle hint of smoky minerality. The palate is crisp, fluid, and well-balanced, delivering juicy orchard fruit and lemon zest followed by gentle buttery undertones. The finish is clean, persistent, and refreshing, leaving citrus and stone-fruit notes.
