Domaine Baron Thenard Givry 1er Cru "Clos Saint Pierre" Rouge 2019, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from the Clos Saint Pierre monopole in Givry 1er Cru on red iron-rich clay soils. The domaine practices traditional viticulture. The grapes are hand harvested, destemmed and fermented in vats, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in French oak barrels with a moderate percentage of new oak.

Tasting Note:
Aromas of ripe cherry, red fruit, earth and spice on the nose. Round attack. Balanced fruit on the mid-palate with supple tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 8-12 years of ageing potential.
