Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Aux Bousselots" 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 0.36 ha from a single parcel of the 1er Cru Les Bousselots at 255 to 280m of altitude. Planted in brown limestone soil, and pink limestone from Premeaux. Age of the vines: 30 years old.

The grapes are 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation, cold maceration of 7 days, and fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is pressed and transferred to barrels by gravity, and ages for 16 months in 20% new oak barrels.

Tasting Note:
Aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, spice and oak on the nose. Firm attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 12-18 years of ageing potential.
