Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Nuits St Georges "V.V. "2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from 1.61hadivided in 4 parcels: Les Charmois, Aux Athees, Aux Tuyaux, and Aux Herbues at 230 to 250m of altitude. The northern part is planted in gravel and silt soils, and the south with heavy marl and limestone. Age of the vines: 60 years old.

The grapes are 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a pre-fermentation, cold maceration of 7 days, and fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is pressed and transferred to barrels by gravity, and ages for 16 months in 10% new oak barrels.

Tasting Note:
Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and spice on the nose. Firm attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 10-15 years of ageing potential.
