Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Les St Georges" 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from old vines approximately 70 years old planted in the prestigious Les Saint-Georges 1er Cru climat in Nuits-Saint-Georges on brown limestone and pink limestone soils from Premeaux. The domaine practices sustainable viticulture with meticulous soil work. The grapes are hand harvested, 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a short pre-fermentation cold maceration and traditional fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels with around 30% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and spice on the nose. Firm attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 10-15 years of ageing potential.
