Domaine Chevillon Chezeaux Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Les Porrets St Georges" 2023, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from a tiny 0.23-hectare holding of old vines planted in the Les Porrets Saint-Georges 1er Cru climat in Nuits-Saint-Georges on clay-limestone soils with gravel. The domaine practices sustainable viticulture with meticulous soil work. The grapes are hand harvested, 100% destemmed and lightly crushed, followed by a 7-day pre-fermentation cold maceration and traditional fermentation with punch downs and pump overs. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels with around 30% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, licorice and spice on the nose. Firm attack. Concentrated fruit on the mid-palate with structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish shows good length and 10-15 years of ageing potential.
