Chateau de Caraguilhes "Solus" Corbieres Blanc 2024, 750ml

This blend of 65% Grenache Blanc and 35% Roussanne is sourced from the "Champ du Château" single vineyard plot in the Boutenac terroir, planted on limestone scree with rounded pebbles at an altitude of 150 to 200 meters. The hand-harvested organic and biodynamic fruit was fermented with natural yeasts. The wine aged on its fine lees for 9 months in French oak demi-muids (80%) and sandstone amphorae (20%), with 0% new oak used during maturation.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of candied lemon, pink grapefruit, white flowers, fennel, and subtle toasted almond open on the nose. The palate is round, fresh, and vibrant, showing concentrated citrus and stone fruit flavors balanced by a clean mineral spine. The finish is long, dry, and pure, with notes of subtle oak spice and crushed limestone.
