Chateau Magdelaine 2011, 750ml

This blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc is sourced from 11 hectares of limestone plateau and clay-limestone hillside plots in Saint-Émilion. The fruit was sorted and fermented in concrete and stainless steel vats. The wine aged in French oak barrels (50% new oak) for 18 months prior to bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of dark berries, ripe plum, crushed limestone, and dried flowers open on the nose, with subtle hints of cedar and cocoa. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced, showing savory red and black fruit flavors supported by fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is clean, dry, and persistent, with soft notes of earth and spice.
