Les Charmes de Liversan 2023, 750ml

The second wine of Château Liversan, sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards planted on fine gravel over limestone and clay-limestone subsoils in the Haut-Médoc. A blend of 50% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats with gentle extraction and light remontage. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrels (20% new oak, 80% neutral barrels) prior to fining and bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of fresh blackberry, black cherry, red plum, dried herbs, cedar, and subtle graphite. The palate is dry, medium-bodied, and supple, delivering a juicy core of dark fruit, fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is clean, energetic, and stony.
