Domaine Henri Gouges Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "Les Pruliers" 2022, 750ml

This 100% Pinot Noir is sourced from the 1er Cru vineyard of Les Pruliers in Nuits StGeorges, planted on deep clay-limestone soils over gravel scree. The grapes were 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in temperature-controlled concrete vats. The wine aged in French oak barrels (approx. 20% new oak) for 18 months before bottling.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with intense aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and plum, layered with complex earthy undertones, roasted meat, and crushed stone minerality. The palate is full-bodied, dense, and muscular, offering a deep core of dark fruit balanced by firm, powdery tannins and a lively acidity. The finish is long, powerful, and structured, ending on a persistent savory and mineral note that promises excellent aging potential.
