Domaine Francois Carillon Bourgogne Aligote 2022, 750ml

100% Aligoté from old vines (over 50 years) in the Puligny-Montrachet and surrounding areas on classic clay-limestone soils. The domaine hand-harvests the grapes, which are directly pressed. The must undergoes traditional fermentation, with the wine aged partly in stainless steel and with a light touch of oak.

Tasting Note:

The 2022 opens with aromas of green apple, pear, lemon, citrus rind, and subtle spice with a light sandalwood note. The palate is vibrant and fresh with crisp acidity, bright orchard and citrus fruit, good texture, mineral undertones, and a long, lively, refreshing finish. Elegant, harmonious, and full of energy.
