Domaine Guy Amiot Bouzeron "Les Bouillottes" Blanc 2021, 750ml

100% Aligoté from a 0.54-hectare parcel of 45-year-old vines in the Les Bouillottes climat in Bouzeron on white marl soils with dominant limestone. The domaine hand-harvests the grapes, which are gently pressed. The wine undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, after which it is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before being reassembled in tank until bottling.

Tasting Note:

The 2021 opens with aromas of green apple, lemon, white flowers, orchard fruit, and subtle hazelnut with mineral and light vanilla notes. The palate is vibrant with crisp acidity, bright citrus and stone fruit, good texture, saline minerality, and a long, refreshing, mineral-tinged finish. Lively, balanced, and full of energy.
