Domaine Laurent Roumier Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes 2022, 750ml

Pinot Noir from the Les Charmes Premier Cru climat in Chambolle-Musigny. Laurent Roumier cultivates vines averaging 40 years of age, farmed with traditional and sustainable practices. Grapes were hand-harvested, sorted, and vinified with native yeasts, using a significant proportion of whole clusters to enhance aromatic lift and structure. The wine was aged for 15–18 months in French oak barrels, with a modest proportion of new oak, highlighting finesse and terroir expression.
Tasting Note:
The 2022 “Les Charmes” is elegant and refined, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petal, and subtle spice. The palate is silky and precise, showing fine tannins, mineral tension, and layered fruit. The finish is long and graceful, combining delicacy with depth, and promising excellent aging potential.
