Fermentation was carried out with native yeasts, and the wine was aged for around 18 months in 25% new French oak barrels, with a careful balance of new oak to preserve terroir expression.\u003cbr\u003e\nTasting Note:\u003cbr\u003e\nThe 2022 Chambertin Grand Cru is deeply colored, with aromas of dark berry fruit, lavender, spice, and marine notes of sea spray and oyster shell. The palate is concentrated and powerful, with waves of dark fruit, white pepper, and firm acidity. Fine-grained tannins and a saline, mineral finish give precision and length.
