The site is famous for its ancient, deep red Cambrian soils. The fruit was hand-harvested and fermented in a combination of open-top and closed stainless steel vats. A portion of the fruit underwent whole-bunch fermentation to add structural complexity and aromatic lift. The wine aged for 12 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak foudres (2,500-liter) and barriques.
