The 2022 blend comprises Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from vineyards with an average age of around 20 years, planted on granite‑ and schist‑derived soils with clay structure. Each variety was vinified separately, with fermentation in stainless steel, concrete or marble vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine was aged for 12 months in oak barrels, approximately 20% new and 80% used, combining American and French oak, and subsequently rested for at least 6 months in bottle before release.
