The soil is composed of Bajocian crinoidal limestone and marl, with a substratum of limestone scree and silt. Fermentation was carried out using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, with partial whole-cluster inclusion depending on vintage conditions; in 2018, a portion of the fruit was fermented with stems. The wine was aged for approximately 16–18 months in French oak barrels, with a restrained use of new oak, under 30%.
